Blessings, Honor, and Glory...
Psalm 95:6-9
"O come, let us, worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For He is our God; and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Today if ye will hear His voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of the temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work."
It is our prayer for the study of God's Word to be overflowing with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Our prayers are that every session be blessed, full measured, pressed down, and shaken together, as all of our officers, teachers/instructors, and students endeavor to be spiritually empowered.
Christian Education is the key to the equipping of the Lord's people.

GENERIC CONCEPT:  The mandate of God's Word sets forth the rationale for developing effective programs of Christian Education, both locally and cooperatively among churches constituting the National Baptist Convention, Inc (Matthew 28:19-20). It is evident that one of the greatest needs of our local fellowship is a sufficient number of adequately trained persons to lead the various aspects of the church's ministries. This need can be fulfilled only through a planned program of Christian Education.
GOAL:  In response to this biblical mandate, the goal of the Golden Rule District Baptist Congress of Christian Education will be to develop opportunities for its constituency to obtain increased knowledge of God's Word and training for lay and professional leaders in the church through cooperative efforts.
OBJECTIVES:  The District's Congress of Christian Education will assist members of its churches to:
  1. develop leaders who can discharge their responsibilities with skill, confidence, and competence;
  2. develop more effecienct programs of Christian Education through cooperative study at the local church level;
  3. create a cadre of trained instructors to provide educational leadership and training opportunities both at the district and local levels; and
  4. provide a means by which indivdual persons may obtain mastery in chosen fields of study related to the work of the Church.
PROCESS:  The goal and the objectives listed are to be accomplished through the folloowing means:
  1. an annual week of study held each July and designated as the Golden Rule District Congress of Christian Education; and
  2. institutes, seminars, and workshops held periodically at each of the member churches.
